MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
Boat maintenance and repairs
Describe the areas that need attention, any damage you have noticed and when you expect to use your boat. We can clarify the work, priorities and material requirements before preparing a quote.
Suitability and availability are confirmed by the team for your boat.

SERVICE DETAILS
Establish the work before it starts
Scheduled care and a specific repair need different preparation. Your boat’s condition, maintenance history and any photographs help explain the need. The initial conversation establishes any inspection required, the work list and the scope to be priced.
What to share
- The area needing work and the issue you have noticed
- Boat type, approximate length and current location
- Maintenance history and helpful photographs, if available
- Your priorities, intended use date and contact preference
Outside the agreed scope
- Photos or an initial conversation are not a firm diagnosis or price where an inspection is needed.
- Haul-out, time ashore, materials and externally supplied work must be identified if included.
- Additional work discovered during assessment is not automatically part of the initial quote; scope and price need clarification.
SERVICE SCOPE
Scope to discuss
Scheduled maintenance needs
Maintenance history and intended use help identify the work that needs assessment.
Damage and repair requests
The affected area, symptoms and available photographs help establish the next assessment step.
Work sequence and scope
Where several jobs are requested, priorities, material needs and the intended return to use are considered together.
NEXT STEPS
From enquiry to agreed work
Can you quote from photographs?
Photographs help explain the request. An inspection may be needed to confirm the scope or price; this will be discussed when preparing the quote.
Can I request several jobs together?
Yes. List the jobs and your priorities. The team can assess which work can be planned together, the preparation needed and the proposed scope.
What if I want to supply materials?
Mention this in your enquiry. Material suitability, supply arrangements and responsibilities should be agreed before work begins.
What happens if another problem is found?
The additional need, its effect on the planned work and any extra cost should be discussed. Work outside the initial quote should not be treated as automatically approved.
