TIME ASHORE · FETHIYE
Winter storage and time ashore
Plan the period ashore, seasonal preparation and a target return-to-water date together. Storage availability, boat suitability and the work included are confirmed for your requested dates.
SEASONAL PREPARATION
A storage period with a return plan
A longer stay ashore brings several decisions together: when to lift out, which work to complete, how access will be arranged and when to relaunch. State the intended period first, then list any maintenance or seasonal preparation. Do not assume lifting, storage, protective materials or servicing are included in one price; the proposal should show the agreed items.

Three parts of a storage plan
- Dates and duration
- Give an intended lift-out date, length of stay and target relaunch. Say whether those dates are flexible.
- Seasonal work
- List maintenance and preparation needs separately. Inspection, materials and any system servicing need an agreed scope.
- Access and handover
- Identify who will hand over the boat, any access needs during storage and how changes will be authorised.
Information for a storage proposal
- Boat type, length, beam, draft and known weight
- Intended period ashore and preferred return-to-water date
- Any lifting guidance or previous haul-out records
- Maintenance list and contact details

Storage questions
Is winter storage only for the winter months?
A period ashore may be needed for seasonal lay-up or a maintenance programme. State the months and duration required so availability can be checked.
Are maintenance and relaunch included?
Only if the proposal says so. Review the scope and charges for each operation before accepting.
What if the relaunch date changes?
Let the team know as early as possible. Any effect on storage duration, charges, work and availability needs to be reviewed.
